Kiwanis scholarships awarded at the May 4 Meeting

The Statesboro Kiwanis Club awards three $1500 scholarships annually to high school seniors in the seven-county Kiwanis-Ogeechee Fair area. These are known as the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro Memorial Scholarships given in memory of the club's deceased members. The 2006 recipients are:

Club members and Friends of Ken Gottman, deceased Club member, contributed funds in memory of Ken in order to award another scholarship this year. The recipient is Abbey Mayfield of Claxton, Georgia.
